CERTIFICATION
NALTA’s
Certification Information
Beginning
January 1, 1989, the National Association of Lease and Title Analysts
implemented the Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst
(CPLTA) Program for qualified lease and title analysts. |
|
This
program evolved from a two-year study conducted by NALTA's Certification
Committee and represents the ideas and recommendations of many individuals.
Participation is voluntary and available to NALTA members and non-members
alike. Candidates who meet the established criteria and who successfully
complete a comprehensive examination will be granted the title Certified
Professional Lease and Title Analyst (CPLTA).
The primary goal of the Certification Program is to enhance the professional
status of lease and title analysts. An additional goal is to provide
a reliable standard of excellence and achievement that is readily accepted
within the energy industry, by the public and among professional peer
groups. Thus, a Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst will
be recognized as one who exemplifies the highest standards of experience,
competence and integrity in the practice of his/her profession.
CERTIFICATION
CORNER
At
every monthly meeting the certification corner will pass out a group
of questions to be answered by using the certification manual. The answers
should list the page and paragraph where the answer was found in the
manual.
When
a member turns in the answers a ticket will be given for each group
of questions answered. Put your name on one-half of the ticket and drop
it into the drawing box. Keep the other half of the ticket. You may
take the questions home and work on the answers by looking them up in
the manual. This is an open book game. The different group of answers
can be turned in one at time or all at once. The October luncheon is
the final date to have all answers turned in. The answers will be checked
for correctness. During the Certification Corner of the November luncheon
two lucky members will win the following two prizes:
- A
CERTIFICATION MANUAL
- EXPENSES
PAID FOR
